The Menu is a News & Observer-produced site devoted to the Triangle’s growing restaurant scene, focusing on the reviews of longtime N&O restaurant critic Greg Cox and the work of N&O photographer Juli Leonard. In addition to publishing reviews of some of the best restaurants in the Triangle, The Menu will provide quick access to Cox’s popular Cheap Eats columns, which spotlight ethnic eateries, food trucks and counter service spots.
Please note that Greg Cox always dines anonymously and the newspaper pays for all meals. He ranks restaurants in five categories: ***** Extraordinary **** Excellent. *** Above average. **Average. * Fair.
